In 2014 IDA was commissioned by CRRC Zhuzhou to create the Interior Design, Exterior Design and Drivers Cab for Macedonia’s new EMU/DMU passenger train. This train represents China’s first passenger train exported to a European market. The design features themes inspired by Macedonian art and culture, particularly its national flag. IDA delivered 3D data for all visible surfaces of the train, as well as colour and finish specifications, including a special seat fabric design that supported the overall interior themes.
